Background
Twelve years developing real estate — twenty-plus projects, full cycle, from finding the dirt to selling the building, plus the property management that comes with holding them. These days I’m in San Diego, remotely managing eighteen small rental buildings, running an angel and investment portfolio, and building software I actually use.
Every system I run started the same way — something in my week was taking too long, so I built the thing that handled it. The monthly books. Deal screening. Chasing people for documents. I wasn’t trying to learn AI. I was trying to get my Sunday back.
That turned into 0to1.AI. I install the same kind of systems for other operators now — ten clients at a time, so the work stays good. Everything I build lives in the client’s own workspace and accounts. They own it and they run it.
Before all of this: a business degree from USC Marshall in real estate finance, and a master’s in real estate development from Columbia. I’ve evaluated more than 500 early-stage startups as an angel investor and led diligence teams alongside other investors.
