Using AI more in my week, automating less of it end to end.
Most of what fills my week isn't repeatable. A deal, a client problem, a decision — each one's its own shape. Only pieces inside them repeat: pulling comps, drafting a specific kind of email, formatting a report. For a while I kept trying to wrap the whole thing in one automation anyway, and it kept fighting me. Forcing a circle into a square.
So I stopped. Now I build for the piece that repeats and leave the rest alone — a skill here, a small automation there, nothing trying to own the whole process start to finish. The work stays as messy and one-off as it actually is. I just move faster through the parts that were never supposed to be one-off in the first place.
